People are suffering from poverty, hunger: Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that people are suffering from hunger and poverty.
In a statement, the PML-N leader said that the people are not getting food due to insufficient income and increasing inflation. The prices of fundamental items are touching the sky, he added.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif said, The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is unaware of economy and nation’s problems.
He said that the general masses are facing troubles in livelihood due to increasing inflation. Economic figures presented by the government are unreliable and a clear betrayal to the nation, the PML-N president stated.

Cebu City RTC Judge Merlo Bagano sentenced Joey Guirigay, Francisca Rebamonte, Gloria Gabutin, and Meryteissie Rural to four months of imprisonment.
The four are temporarily out on bail pending their application for probation.
NBI Central Visayas Director Rennan Augustus Oliva said the four entered a guilty plea during the arraignment on Monday, May 31, 2021. They were admonished by the judge, who said that any repetition of this offense would be dealt with by the court more severely than this, Oliva said.
